　　这里是两句话，用and连接的

　　rough adj. 粗略的;大致的。—— roughly adv. 大约;大概;差不多

　　one hundred billion：一千亿(billion n. 十亿;million n. 百万)

　　nerve n. 神经;勇气;气魄。

　　cell n. 细胞

　　talent n. 天才。—— talented adj. 天才的。这里是说人的大脑是天才一样的，极其复杂，根本不是人可以模仿的。

　　than后面是than引导的比较状语从句，出现了省略，省略了主语 “we”

　　②and human perception is far morecomplicated than previously imagined.

　　这里破折号的使用就是为了那个省略这个be动词 “is” ，就是为了少写这个东西。因为，两个句子都是主系表结构，所以，后面的一个系动词可以省略。英语就是这么懒!

　　perceive vt. 感觉;感知;认知。—— perception n. 感知;感觉;知觉。

　　far more：远比

　　complicate vt. 使复杂化。—— complicated adj. 复杂的。—— complication n. 复杂。

　　comply vi. 遵从;服从。—— compliant adj. 服从的。—— compliance n. 服从。

　　than部分是和上一句一样。

　　previous adj. 以前的。—— previously adv. 以前。

　　they指研究人员

　　这里的by表示：“程度、数量”

　　a fraction of：一点儿

　　that部分是定语从句，这里是修饰the scene，这里percent后面省略了。

　　relevant adj. 有关的;相关的。—— irrelevant adj. 无关的。

　　这部分是分词做状语，表示结果：instantaneously focusing on the monkey at the side of a winding forest road orthe single suspicious face in a big crowd.

　　instantaneous adj. 立刻的;即刻的。—— instantaneously adv. 立刻地。

　　winding adj. 蜿蜒曲折的

　　suspicious adj. 怀疑的;可疑的

　　【逻辑梳理】这里是说，人的思维可以在一个不断变化的场景中，很快的锁定目标。比如：你去逛街，你的思维(大脑)会立刻识别整条街(gai)上看的美女/帅哥(靓女/靓仔)，并且，立刻会聚焦到你喜欢的那个帅哥/美女的身上，赶紧多看几眼。这一过程，看似很简单，但是，却是机器无法做到的。

　　④The most advanced computer systems on Earth can’t approach that kind of ability, and neuroscientists still don’t know quite how we do it.地球上进的计算机系统都无法达到这种能力，而神经科学家仍然不清楚，我们是如何做到这一点的。

　　that部分是指代上一句说的，人类的思维的那种能力(就是你看美女/帅哥的那种能力)。

　　quite adv. 相当;完全;彻底。

　　总结：第五段是说，人类要去模仿人的思维是非常难的，因为，人的思维是极其复杂的。没有任何计算机可以实现人脑那样的功能。
